    I’ve managed to use Filezilla to copy folders/files from my 1800T, however, if I try to play them – ie by double-clicking the .ts file, it won’t play – certainly not in VLC etc. Is this because they are encrypted? If so, is there a way to decrypt?

    For SD programmes copy them to a USB drive. The copy process will copy them decrypted.

    For HD it is a longer process but this site does not support the discussion of the details.

    OK, the particular video I’m interested in is SD, so I’ll try that tomorrow.
