I think you need an HDMI cable to connect between the TV and The 5000T.

InactiveYour new TV must have come with instructions either with it or online, have you read them? How did you connect the 5000t to your old TV? it should be the same. I am having trouble believing this is a real issue. Even if it is real and you have no manual it is very easy to simply google manual for your make and model of TV and there will be one online like this one https://manuall.co.uk/tcl-40fs3750-roku-led-television/ and connecting could not be easier.

InactiveIt is a real issue for me because my husband did all the tv stuff and he has now died. I am 72 not a young techie like you.

InactiveOk then all you need is a hdmi cable. the instructions in the manual are very clear and easy to follow, do you have the manual?
PS I am only a few years younger than you.

InactiveThere should be a more detailed manual online, the leaflet more than likely tells you the site address for it.

It was the TV manual not the 5000t manual that was needed.
