How do I change the postcode to get ITVHD and player? will that loose my timers and recorded programmes?
I have a postcode int he STV area and no ITVHD or player.
on youview there is some access to ITVplayer with itv2/3/4 programmes in the stv region. I am so surprised they disable complete access in the stv area.
the VOD experience is so limited in comparison to youview.
I had the same problem – I’m in the Scotland too and there doesn’t seem to be an STV player so I changed my postcode to a London one (SE20 8AA will work) in the Settings/Freesat Channels/Scan for Channels menu.
You can then change BBC1 and BBC 2 to Scotland regional channels in the same menu. This will give you ITV player and the ITV HD channels. The only downside is ITV will show regional news etc, but I usually watch BBC anyway.
No access to itv player though:( you could try a Peebles postcode. They get border news
Ok reset and seems to work now. Why is it the BBC have a backwards epg for 7 days and itv is like one day?

I have loads of content. It probably takes a while to populate depending on your broadband speed. The reset will have ditched the cached content.
BBC content yes ITV little. In compassion with the youview VOD this is really poor. The itv player is so basic. How do they get away with it!

You do get itv player if you change to an English postcode as I mentioned. The only thing you don’t get is ITV regional news as you can’t specify an ITV region.
I would imagine that with a Peebles postcode you’d get STV anyway.
