InactiveMy Humax Fox T2 is about 3 yrs old and I have only just got around to connecting to the internet. The TV Portal only shows BBC iplayer for catch up tv. Is it possible to extend the range to cover all the other main channels? Not a fan of Sky or set top boxes.

Sadly, not possible. A media player of some sort might be the answer eg Link to Roku media players.

Forget it – Getting a smart tv.
Not many smart TV’s have the full range of catch up services, so check before you buy.

InactiveHi I know this isn’t a roku site but I do have a human fox t2 so maybe that qualifies me to ask the following question:
I have a Panasonic flatscreen which is not smart. But it’s also not very old. I want to view Netflix on it and am considering a Roku Streaming Stick (HDMI version 3500EU). However was on eBay the other day and noticed some of the boxes for it said 500+ channels, while others said 1000+ or 1500+ channels. Other than that they all appeared the same. Does anyone know if they are the same of if you can get different models for the UK.?
Thanks

InactiveIt depends on what’s available in the Channel Store. There are fewer channels in the UK Channel Store than in the U.S. Channel Store. See http://ukrokuchannels.blogspot.co.uk/ for a UK list.
All Roku models have access to all channels in the relevant Channel Store, (except for the £10 cut-down Sky Now TV Roku box, which has very few, but does have all the UK PSB catchup services plus of course the opportunity to subscribe to Sky content).
Various channels which aren’t in the Store can be sideloaded onto a Roku. This used to include Plex but I have an idea Plex may by now be officially in the Store.

InactiveOk thanks James. And this applies to the Roku Stick – not just the Roku 1,2, and 3 does it.?

InactiveYes. See https://www.roku.com/uk/choose-your-roku for a comparison table.
