First check you have start time and end time set to auto. Delete your existing reservations for Emmerdale and the channel 4 one. Find the next ocurrence of Emmerdale and select it. Press OK and choose the record series option.

When you set a series to record the schedule will only list the next episode to be recorded. If you want to see all the episodes of the series that are coming up to be recorded in the next 7 days you can highlight the timer in the schedule then press the right arrow next to the “OK” button on the remote. This viewing of all episodes in the schedule only works for series timers.

You doing that cancelled the series timer and replaced it with a manual repeat timer.

By editing the timer to be a manual repeat timer it will just record at the same time each time.

If you want to see which other shows in the schedule you have edited to be a repeat timer instead of a series timer there is a symbol displayed on the right in the schedule for each timer. The blue coloured symbol is a repeat timer and the purple symbol is for a series.
