I had to buy a second hand HDR 1000s, I swapped my old hard drive into replacement one it’s records and plays.
However my old recordings are listed but when I play them just a blank screen with the time stamps at bottom any ideas?
I believe the old recordings will have been encrypted when recorded. The key to unlock them is tied to the machine which made the recording.
