Has anyone tried transferring HD files recorded in non Freesat mode from the Foxsat HDR to a PC?
Whilst all Freesat recorded files can be transferred by ftp these other files cause a “Critical error” if an attempt is made. They can be copied to an external usb device, but cannot subsequently be moved from there to a pc.
It appears the filename includes some unusual ASCII characters which may cause the error, however, if I try and remove them by re-naming the file I get an error message (W7) saying “Item not found. This item is no longer at the location xxxxxxxxxxx”
IS there a solution?
Welcome Marrtin, asked you to post here. I had the same problem with a pair of recordings of the Royal Wedding.
