Hi, I currently have a VM running Win Server 2012 with Plex media server. I have mapped my Movies, TV, Pictures, and Music folders, which can all be seen on the HB1000s. Movies and TV play fine, however if I choose any of my MP3 files I get a message saying “format not supported”. If I copy an mp3 to a USB stick it plays. Also some jpegs are viewable but some aren’t, however it does provide a thumbnail for all pics… A bit confused about this… Anyone any ideas?
Yours is not an unusual experience with the media client. I found exactly the same, and many other problems all of which were documented to Freesat & Humax in the past. They were ignored. I now have a stand-alone media player (around 70 Pounds) which does everything it claims to do and perfectly.
