InactiveI have lost the ability to access all of my recordings since a power cut.
The directories are shown but not the contents.
I also cannot record anything.
I have the interface installed on my humax foxsat and have tried running the fixpath program.
This has not cured the problem.
Last time I had a similar problem I had to copy all the videos to a pc , format the Humax disc and reload the videos back to the Humax.
This took hours and so can anyone suggest a fix to avoid this?
Thanks

InactiveThanks.
I’m now running fix-disk.
Hopefully that will fix the problem.

InactiveI ran the disk fix.
After 24 hours my pc locked up.
Looks like I need to copy the contents of the disc format disk and copy back.
Can someone let me know the best way to copy all files?
Thanks

InactiveHad another thought.
I have a hd disk carrier.
If I bought another 1 TB disc, swapped for the one in the humax.
If I connected the old humax disc into the usb socket via the carrier is it likely to be read ok by the humax?

Why not run fix-disk again? If it ran for 24 hours it should have made significant progress in cleaning up the disk unless the disk itself is knackered.

If it’s the same as fix-disk on the HDR-T2 then it runs on the HDR itself so if the PC locks up then reboot and log back in.
edit: just to add that you can have multiple telnet sessions running so if fix-disk hangs then you can open another session and kill it from there.
