Hi I am a complete newbie and not much of a techie but I am keen to know if there is any way I can get my IPad to comunicate with the Foxsat HDR to watch recorded shows etc..? Any help would be appreciated. I am networked up if that helps.
It can, but it’s not as easy as it could be…
The HDR has rudimentary support for DLNA streaming but your iPad won’t play with that nicely out of the box.
There is a website not far from here [ http://hummy.tv/forum/ ] that has lots of information about using custom firmware on your HDR (like jail breaking) that will enable you to watch your programs on your iPad…
