InactiveI am trying to ftp a .ts file using AV2HDR but keep getting this same message for one specific episode of a tv series which I have been able to tranfer most of to the humax box already, I am baffled as nothing else as far as I can see is using the nts file and the file generated comes out at 0 bytes whereas it is usually 40-60KB? Is there a way that I can manually generate the .nts file?:
FTP Transfer
The process cannot access the file ‘C:DesktopWatching Too Much Television20120922_1625.nts’ because it is being used by another process.

Try remuxing the original .ts using tsmuxergui. Use the remuxed file with AV2HDR.

InactiveThanks Graham yes have remuxed with tsmuxergui and will try once I can get AV2HDR 1.8 working again, thanks

Inactivestill no joy on this, remuxing ts using tsmuxergui seems to give me the same error again with a 0 byte nts file, also tried to remux mkv to ts using tsmuxergui and then .ts to AV2HDR for the final conversion to humax box but that file plays back at ffwd speed only, so looks like I’ll have to forego one episode

ParticipantYou could try VLC’s recode option. VideoRedo Plus may well sort it out. You could try installing a trial version, depends on how much you want the content.

Inactiveok thanks for the extra tips Graham, I do want the content as there must be a way of doing it, will keep trying every option, not familiar with VLC’s recode option but will look at the help files, cheers

InactiveI would suggest you delete both sidecar files before you reprocess the file. It is possible that AV2HDR will try and load the existing file and update it if it exists.

Inactiveok thanks REPASSAC, have done so but so far hasn’t made a difference, cheers, will keep trying as there must be a way around this

InactiveI think it may be worth copying the file afresh from the Foxsat.

InactiveREPASSAC, the file is ripped from a dvd into mkv, then converted to ts and then ftp to humax box using AV2HDR, have had limited success with Super v2012 v53 but no sound so am now trying again after tweaking setting in super but always looking for an mkv to ts converter that actually is compatible with the humax and takes less than 2hrs per conversion!
