I am will shortly be setup with a Humax youview box courtesy of BT along with Infinity broadband. I am aware that BT does not support multi-room and so was wondering could I run a Humax HDR Fox T2 box in a different room and still have it connected to my home hub or would the two be incompatible?
Hi welcome to the forum, as your HDR FOX T2 will have it’s own IP adress issued by your router it will be totally seperate from your BT Youview box just like your PC/Laptop etc is. Just don’t expect the unlimited VOD download you get to to the Yoview box to be part of the arrangement, it will form part of your other internet activity.
