    Hello,

    I have Humax FVP 5000T, box this problem happens without any warning and there is no set pattern,

    The issue is when watching a recorded progmme the box will suddenly switch off with out any warning and the blue light on the front of the box changes to red, then 3 seconds latter the box switch back on and starts to go though the setup, then goes straight to BBC 1.

    Also in the menu only half the apps will, appear, then after 3 seconds the rest of the apps will appear.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Are you sure the Power Timer/Power Management aren’t set on the System Settings page?

    Hello,

    Have checked this and and turned both of them off.

    Should this fix the issue ?

    If the box is switching off whilst playing a recording my guess would be the box is crashing for some reason. Is it the same recording that is causing the problem or all of them? What happens if you pause a live channel?
