ParticipantAnyone else getting frequent picture breakdown on BBC1-HD on Freesat. Picture flashes and glitch on audio ? Affecting Foxsat-HDR and HDR1000s. Freeview-HD is OK.

Thanks Barry, loads at end of escape to the country for me. Switched to 119 to eliminate local dish issue.

Participant119 is fine, must be a broadcaster issue. Who do we complain to ?

ModeratorAlready highlighted to Humax Towers as they have better access to contacts at freesat and BBC – no guarantee they will take swift action though.

InactiveYes noticed the picture glitching during the news, have now switched to non HD and no problems. Glad it’s not something I’ve done. This is a good forum to be part of.

You always wonder if it’s fault with your kit. Once you know it’s not then it’s a great clue where to look. It happens so quickly on the screen (1/25 second) it’s near impossible to see what is actually happening. If you look at the picture you can see the audio drops out as well.

InactiveI was setting up a surround sound system this pm and thought I’d nudged something. Glad I checked here first before pulling the whole unit out to check the leads!

ParticipantThe issue is getting much worse. During the current transmission of the “The Silk” the disruption is happening more frequently. Are the cuts to the BBC budget affecting the ability to monitor what is actually transmitted ? This adds to the already known problems with 5.1 audio glitches previously identified. So far no apology for this 🙄
This has existed for hours. It’s clearly not an issue with a anyone’s installation (the usual excuse).
Amazed that Sky users of the same broadcasts have not afaik reported similar.

ModeratorBeing reported on the freesat and sky community forums apparently.
Quick look on DS – yep there as well.
Edit: I have submitted info to beeb.
