Trying to cast from YouTube on a mobile to an Aura now gives an ‘Untrusted Device’ error.

Not had this problem as I use the native YouTube App
Curious, what does casting give you that the App doesn’t?
Just convenience of search and queueing on the mobile.
Just annoying it’s stopped working.
Aura… untrusted? That abouts sum up the Aura.

Yes I get the same
Have a workaround…..
1. Load the youtube app on the aura.
2.Run YouTube on the mobile.
3.A pop-up appears which asks if you want to connect to devices…
Doesn’t complain about being untrusted and allows you to queue videos as previously.
SOLVED.
Uninstall the Dec 22 update to Chromecast builtin.
Reviews on playstore indicate google had done something to break it.
Are thay still working on the fix how meny yers to fix it then.

It just gets into this state sometimes. Sometimes it seems to work again after a while. But it turn stars to get into this state again.
Only workaround I know is a reset on this case.
Just keep raising a case with support. If nothing else it’ll annoy them. They’ll always tell you to reset anyways.
Google cast FVP-4KGTR
Just fixt not casting I uninstalled Google cast. Working OK now.
