I have downloaded the Aura App on my Samsung S24 phone running Android 14
When I try to download in on my Samsung Tab S9, also running Android 14, Google Playstore says it is not available on this device because, it was built for an older version of Android…
Both devices are running Android 14 so why is it not available?
Is there somewhere else I can load the Aura App from?

I have a similar problem with my Samsung A14 phone running Android 14. Playstore says “Looking for Aura? This app isn’t available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android”
I’m running the Aura app fine on Google Pixel 6a on Android 15, so don’t think it’s Android version issue.
At a guess, maybe the app is only built for phones (smaller screens), so hence why it won’t load on the tablet with larger screen.
It does work on an iPad full screen, so I would have thought Humax would also support Android tablets the same way. Maybe if we see the rumoured box update in January, they will fix the any outstanding app issues around version compatibility.
There was another thread recently with a few people getting the same “This app isn’t available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android” when they tried to get the app on their phones, I was one of them and I have android 13. That thread gained zero useful advice as to a fix. The best thing people can do is contact Humax and when enough people do they may look into the problem.
I’ve got the app running on my Android tablet no problem with Android 14.
Just got an aura only to find the app is not compatible with most of my devices (according to the play store).
It downloads on my ipad mini, ios 12.5.7, but instantly closes when opened.
On android it isn’t compatible with my android 14 lenovo tablet or xiaomi phone. It says it’s available an old xiaomi android 7 tablet though.
What I did on my phone was download the apk file. Easiest was getting the apkpure store. Download & install the apkpure apk file (you’ll need to to allow installing from unknown sources) then from the same website download the humax aura apk.
Its now installed & working fine, so far, on my phone.

I have loaded Aura on my tablet running Android 14, but cannot load on my wife’s running Android 13. It says when I try that the app is designed for an earlier version of Android!!!
