Have just bought a HB 1000s and a separate hard drive. After connecting it had a message do you want to use this HDD as a PVR which of course I do. Only problem is when I click on yes nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

Can’t remember what happened on mine, think it exited. Was your disk formatted (NTFS) or not? If it was I think it just writes a marker to the disk.
What HD and how powered?
Thanks Repassac for response. My son -in-law sorted it out and it now works fine (don’t ask me what he did,it was beyond me!)
