InactiveI’m on the latest software for the PVR and the android apps and have found the following.
The live TV app is no longer working. I get a message ‘Unfortunately live TV has stopped’ This was working previously.
The tv guide appears to be working apart from not allowing series recording and not allowing to browse earlier in the day than the current time even when browsing tomorrow’s programs. I’m ok with it not allowing that for the current day.
The schedule is now populated.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the live TV app a number of times.
I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Barry, are you on the latest official 1.01.49?
This doesn’t have live tv broadcast (Channels) available via standard network protocols
We’ve not heard anything from H3 users.

I had been on the beta but updated to the official version. That may be the cause. I can test this tomorrow. I did a factory default reset as well.

Using the beta which is exactly the same as released version, and does not have live tv via DMS.
Live TV via H3 works as before.

Cheers Barry, thanks for the update and confirmation, I suspected H3 was okay hence the silence.
I also assumed android app would use standard protocols which is what intrigued me with S5 not working, but S4 seemingly. Not too sure where this leaves J_Oz and others, I guess we just wait for the dust to settle.
thanks again for your support and time

InactiveDoes anyone know what the following option means when setting up the account on myhumax.net for the android tv app:
Device Manager: Control all apps on device using Device Manager?
Only one account can be set as a Device Manager.
I’m not sure whether to select this or not? Thanks.

InactiveWeird. I just tried the Live TV app again on my phone (No uninstall/reinstall) and it is now working. The only significant thing that has happened today is a reboot (Not by me, by the box). I had reported the problem to Google and to Humax but I don’t think they will have had time to do anything.
