    Hi all,been told i need the lnb for sat dish to get channels as plugged my sky q ariel and i get no channels But is there any other way to test the humax 1100s without the lnb dish part,when i hook it up,i get no signal

    And says cannot find channels but i want to check ot actually works before i sell on?

    Take it to a friends house who does have the correct type of LNB would be the best solution.
