InactiveOne programme we record weekly always starts about 30s early and recordings therefore miss this snippet (Bake Off, Ch4).
Is there a way to add a small extra buffer to the recording so we always capture the whole recording? My kids like (and miss) the “amusing” bit with Fielding and Lucas.

InactiveOn the 4000t it is possible this way (so similar may be possible for the Aura) :-
Set the recording.
Go to the Schedule list.
Highlight the recording you want to change.
Select Edit.
Select Reschedule.
Here you will find a page of parameters that you can change.
Select OK.

InactiveI didn’t discover that last time I had a play to see if I could find a buffer option, so I don’t think the Aura has that available.
I will double check tonight though.

ModeratorAura does not have edit function.
Options:
1. Use padding for all timers
2. Set a manual timer for each time the programme is scheduled.

InactivePage 28 of the instructions suggests some changes can be made via the green button.

That must be a mistake as there is no green button option on scheduled timers list.

InactiveThanks both. In which case, it feels like a feature suggestion to me.
There’s no way in 2021 I should be needing to manually set timers for a series on a mainstream broadcaster, and there are plenty of other good reasons why a pre- or post-broadcast buffer period could and should be added in (e.g. some programmes have very witty announcers, some programmes often have relevant trailers immediately after the broadcast).
All that said, it is *only* Bake Off which seems to be presenting this issue for me so maybe I just need to suck up the manual process for now.

InactivePerhaps you need to take this up with Ch4, but it might be another result of the problems associated with the RedBee issues.
Ch4 still have not been able to restore subtitles, so this might be another issue.

InactiveYes, obviously Ch4’s programme meta data is the real issue, nonetheless the ability to tweak things on a programme by programme basis is something I’d like to see in place.
