InactiveJust a placeholder post.
We used to use a Playstation 3 for catchup, but decided to change to Humax HB-1100S, since we were having problems with All 4. We used to use A.N.Other box for Freesat. So the 1100S seemed like a good upgrade – one remote and catchup / live TV on one box.
Anyway, it appears the problem we had with All 4 wasn’t the PS3, but is an issue at Channel 4 / Freesat. We have been trying to watch Born to Kill on catchup. Works fine and dandy on laptop / Chrome browser. We have a 30Mbps fibre internet connection. It seems (after reading a number of posts here and there) that there is sometimes an issue with Channel 4 files hosted at Freesat. The app runs, we get menus, we choose a program, we get ads delivered, but the program starts, we get coloured blocks on the screen, and bits of what look like other programs.
So, yeah. Just that really. All other catchup and streaming services work fine.

Been like that forever on our 1000s which is why I no longer use it and rely on the ultra reliable and cheap Chromecast streaming device instead.
