Hello everybody,
I just found this forum and, being a nooby, I’d like to ask a question.
I already own a Tivumax pro, but lately I bought a HD-9800S decoder, and I’m happy the way it works. I’m still looking for a way to sort the Favorites the way I can on the Tivumax, but this is not so important for the moment.
I’d like to know if there is a way to acces the recorded programs from my pc, without having do disconnect the harddisk from the decoder and connecting it to my pc every time I want to edit a recording. The recorder is part of my network.
I hope someone can help me in doing this.
For the moment I’m still learning, but when I know more about decoders I hope I can help others with their problems, as I already on other fora for pc problems.

Not a model we have in the UK. To gain access to the HDD look for Network Server, FTP or Samba settings in the box set up options. I take it the box has a network connection (wired or WiFi) ?

It has Wifi and wired connections, but I use the wired one.
I’ll look for the settings you name, I’ll let you know if it works.
The box is connected to the network, but I can’t connect to the HD throughout my pc.
I found the way to use an USB stick to transfer the files to my pc, without having to disconnect the HD, this will suffice for the moment.
