    Hi I have purchased a new humax9300t it is connected by hdmi cable to a Sony Bravia LCD tv.when you press the off button on the remote it turns off the pvr but the tv showes it is still on no picture but hdmi 1 in the left hand corner is this normal please.

    Welcome to the Forum :-)

    That is normal, the 9300T does not have CEC so switching off the PVR will not automatically switch of TV.

    Thanks Barry had a look tried with just scart lead just the same yet we have 9150t and that turned off the tv ok.
