9300T reset problem

    Hi, New to the forum, hoping someone may be able to help.

    Recently bought 9300T and after about a month, it started resetting itself to BBC1 and locking out. Would not change channel, had to unplug it to get it reset. Would be OK for a few hours then do it again.

    Took it back to the shop and they replaced with a new one. This one has started to d the same today. It is less than a month old.

    Iss this a known fault with the unit?

    Not a known fault to my knowledge. What software version does the unit have uploaded?

    Software should be the latest version. If I remember correctly it checks for latest version during set up.

    Just seems a bit odd that we get two machines both with the same fault.

    How could it do that? Software is not broadcast continuously.

    I thought it came up with a message “checking for latest version” or something along those lines. Not 100% sure.

    I am no expert. Just looking for some advice

    Look in Menu > System > Status to find the software version.

    thanks Biggles.

    Software is version 1.00.26

    The box is 500GB model.
