i have joined the forum as having spent last two days reading all your posts as a guest I still could not find the answer to my problem.

I have a 9300t bought second hand. When turned on the front LCD lights slightly but does not show any information, the fan spins up and i can just about here the HDD spinning ( but not hearing ‘usual’ HDD seeking sounds ). Nothing else happens. I have tried with the HDD disconnected , arial disconnected but always the same.

My best guess is that the power supply has failed ( although its outputting power to the mother board as the fan spins ). I am happy to pay for a repair if this is the correct culprit . Thanks for taking the time to read.
