My Humax 9200T PVR the front panel info display has dimmed. I believe the 9300T has a better and brighter display, would this also dim after a couple of years? Any one have any experience or thoughts on this problem?

My Humax 9200T PVR the front panel info display has dimmed.
This is a known problem and is a hardware issue. The clock board for the 9200 (that includes the display) is available from Humax as a spare part and costs a bit over £30 and isn’t particularly difficult to fit. Can’t comment on the 9300 display.
The 9300 display does not appear to dim, as per my reply to your previous post on subject:

Over time the display on the Humax 9200t goes dimmer and dimmer. How does the 9300t units display fare over time, does the display on these units stay bright?
The 9300 has a different technology display to the 9200, it will not dim.
