After using 4OD on my Now TV box, I’ve just noticed a massive amount of content is not available on the Humax box.
E.g. My Now TV box shows about 38 shows beginning with C. My Freesat box shows 12.
Why the difference? I’d always wondered why I couldn’t find whole series that were advertised as being on 4OD. Now I know.
More than likely down to licensing issues.
Then it should be made clear that 4OD on Humax boxes is missing a large amount of content.
Better to spend £10 on a Now TV box and get the full version.
It’s not a specific Humax issue, but devices which fall under certain category’s ie: Set top box, games console, web browser, mobile device etc.
No different to BBCiPlayer either as some program’s can only be shown via a desktop browser.
Anyhow it tells you on the 4OD website.

And it also mentions similar regarding US shows using FAQ on the Help & Info section of the 4OD app.
