Good Afternoon
I have a Humax 26 inch TV, (unfortunately I don’t know the serial number but it is a few years old), all of a sudden the freeview has ceased to work. It seems to lock up and I’m unable to do anything with it, e.g. select epg, switch channels, retune). It does connect to a freeview player/recorder connected to the AV1 port but doesn’t work when Digital is selected. As I am unable to retune/reboot the television does this mean I need to spend my pocket money on a new unit?.

The model number will be on a label on the back. What does the label say?
What makes you think that your aerial is still OK?
It sounds as though it may be an LGB-26TPVR.
Have you tried disconnecting from the mains, then also disconnecting the aerial, followed by switching it back on and then attempting a Factory Setting reset with the aerial still disconnected?
The Default Setting is an option within the Installation menu.
