I just bought Model 1800t, as want it to turn off Freeview Box AND Tv using one button on Remote .. but it puts BOX and TV into standbye, then after 5 min my Hitachi TV, goes off completely…. but i then have to dig out the TV Remote to turn ON the blimmin TV !! Pointless me buying this 1800t, as i still have to use 2 remotes, not just 1 button on the Humax to turn on / off both units ?? or am i doing something wromg ???? Helppppp
Hi you can set the remote to turn your tv off by hitting the tv button and then the off button. You have to hit the pvr ot tv button to revert functions
You find the code for your brand of TV and enter it in the menu system if I remember right. Refer to your owners manual
I still keep two remotes handy but I get your point that it is handy to use one remote.

Hi Minstrel SE, I have the 1800t Model …Codes only work with 2000t model says in my manual .. also my remote is different to the 2000t ..mine has Tv/Radio .. not a TV only .. i just tried, cannot turn my Tv on by this method, thanks for info anyways ! 😥
