    Hi have just replaced my old humax with a new HDR1100S. Everything worked well for about 1 hour and then, the programme changed and the indicator at the bottom of the screen showing Channel number, now and next stayed on permanently. The channels indicator spooled continuously. Tried rebooting. Tried factory reset. Tried using old remote. All failed. Any ideas please.

    Hi welcome to our forum, did you try removing the batteries from the new remote control ?
