    I had a similar issue on the 1TB which got returned and now its started doing it on the 500GB too.

    I recorded it so you can see for yourselves.

    Have you tried a different hdmi cable ? Make and model of TV ?

    Yeah 2 different cables.

    TVs a Samsung LED 7 series which has got 4 HDMI sockets. Never seen this issue before with other devices ive used, but I’ve plugged into a different socket to see how it goes.

    Tiz wierd indeed. Mine’s set on 1080p with a Sony TV via a Denon AV amp, not that it makes any noticeable difference to 1080i option.
