Hi again, I have now set up my Aura Freeview box without any major issues.
I am now trying to install the Aura app on my Android phone from the play store and it tells me it cannot be installed as it was built for an older version of Android.
I am aware that the play store isn’t always up to date. Can anyone advise where there is a more up to date Aura app of if in fact there actually is one?
I checked the Humax Web site and couldn’t find anything

Which Android version is your phone using?
My phone is on Android version 14. I also tried putting it on my tablet that is using Android 13 but still get the same message.

I am on Android 14 and the app is installed and working for me. I suggest you give Humax support a phone call.
My phone is on Android version 13 and when trying to get the Humax Aura app I am also getting “This app isn’t available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android”
I’ve just managed to install the app on an Android 13 phone with no problems.
Thanks for the responses, I have kept trying without success.
I have now contacted Humax support, hopefully they will have a solution, will update here with their response.
I have a similar problem – the app does not even appear on Play on my Android smartphone (Android 14) but is offered to other devices I have. I have it successfully installed on an Amazon Fire tablet (unknown Android version, Fire OS).
I wait to hear what success or otherwise ‘HD’ has with Humax ‘help’ and hope it is better than mine!
