InactiveIs anyone else having iPlayer problems.
When I try to access mine, the white arrow rotates very rapidly and I eventually get a message saying there is a temporary problem (01100). However, the BBC News player works perfectly on the Humax portal and an iPlayer on another bit of hardware works fine too.
Any ideas please?

ModeratorI’ve just tried a couple of programmes and it appears to be working now.

InactiveNo, still not working here – still shows the ‘Something went wrong displaying the programmes (01100)’ notice (as it has been doing since Sunday at least).

ModeratorUmm strange – Have just completed streaming portions of 6 different programmes from iplayer front page no issue (did the same on a 1800T as well)
Anyone else having problems?

InactiveBefore applying the nuclear solution – reset to factory defaults – I accessed the myHumax website and spotted that there was no device recorded (even though most Portal apps were still working…). So went through the registration code process again and re-added the 2000T and, low and behold, iPlayer now works properly again.
Not sure what could have caused the device to de-register itself but am glad I’ve found a solution to the problem (just in time for Christmas too!).

ModeratorEven stranger – The 2000T I used is no longer registered, and the 1800T I also used as a confidence check has never been registered on myhumax app site.

InactiveSo what then is the theoretical need for registering each device on the myhumax site? I thought the portal did not work at all if you didn’t go through the registration process…?

ModeratorIIRC – Registration is only needed if you want to manage apps that are not ‘featured ones’

InactiveTried the BBC iPlayer for the first time in a few weeks tonight and this problem (*) appears to have returned. Anyone else experiencing it? Any suggestions please?

ModeratorWorking OK on my 1800/2000T (only tried 2 programmes) – BBC may have had server issues over the weekend which could have caused problem.

InactiveThanks Barry. Mysteriously working ok tonight so don’t know what the problem was yesterday!
