    Sometimes I pause a live HD transmission, when I restart the prog it has sub-titles on it. How do you remove them? pushing “sub” does not do it.

    Any help please.

    Press exit twice. While viewing the live channel try turning on subtitles and then back off again. With a modicum of luck it won’t happen again :-)

    If you do the on/off trick it should stop it happening again. It’s thought that the menu option to turn on subtitles globally gets out of synch with the individual channel selection via the sub button. Toggling on and then off seems to re-synch the two.

    There’s one exception, if you use customise channels for some wierd reason this doesn’t work for moved channels. In this case you have to use the exit solution every time you use live pause.

    There’s no problem with using chasing playback.

    Graham this happens on mine as well but on non hd channels as well, will try your solution and let you know if it works.

    Just tried the on off trick on each individual channel

    And it appears to be fine.
