ParticipantThe direct connection to the disk is preferable and also much faster the trying to use the USB port on the 9200t.
You will need humaxrw (link) and if you want to avoid the command line then humaxrw GUI too.
Some have found that by reducing the number of muxes the 9200t is tuned to it reduces the frequency of lock-ups, they are well into teenage now an just as temperamental.
Admin note: moved to correct forum.

ParticipantWe are mostly UK based here, but if there are any other Australians watching perhaps they could jump in.
Otherwise try setting a few recordings from different frequencies from the one you are watching and check signal again.

ParticipantTo add to what Martin has said you need at least the .hre files corresponding to your recovered files. If these were not copied to your PC when downloading the files from the original drive then you will have to recreate them using ts2hrw.

I bought this box new less than two months ago. The instuctions were on the sales page of the retailer which indicated that not only were featured apps. available via the portal but others could be obtained from the Humax site. This must be honoured.
Remember that your contract of sale is with the retailer not Humax, and if you consider it to have been misdescribed you would be within your rights to return it for a refund. Also note that it is a discontinued model.

ParticipantAsssuming one of the 9000 series recorders
9200T – use the yellow red and white RCA sockets to connect to composite input on TV
9150T – use a scart to composite lead , or adapter with RCA leads to connect to the composite input on TV
9300T – Use a HDMI lead to connect to a HDMI input on TV
If you don’t know which model you have, the 9200T has 2 scart connectors and RCA composite sockets, the 9150T has 2 scart connectors but no RCA sockets, and the 9300T is the only one with a HDMI port.

ParticipantJust to confirm that you are running from an administrator command prompt not just ‘run as administrator’.
If you want to try reformatting the drive then just format it under windows, then when you replace it in the pvr and power up you should be offered the option to format, which is not a full format so may seem quick.
If either the Windows format fails or the drive is not recognised when replaced in the Humax then I would assume it to be faulty.

ParticipantFirstly both humaxcheck and humaxrw must be run from an administrator command line (right click cmd and ‘run as administrator)
Secondly the fact that Windows has given the drive a drive letter would suggest it has initialised the drive and therfore the humax filesystem is possily corrupted. That may explain why the humaxrwgui does not find a disk. You may be able to repair this with the -p option in humaxcheck.
Note that the filesystem on a 9000 series drive is proprietary and neither Windows nor Linux compatible without the above programs.

ParticipantYou could try a search at remotecentral.com/ or there are some codes for mode 2 and mode 3 on earlier boxes at JP1 Remotes File Section but for OFA remotes.
aldaweb
ParticipantIf you can find the EFC code for the list button you can program that code to an unused button on the OFA remote or as a ‘shifted button’. A shifted button is just a normal button but where you press the ‘key magic’ key first.
Try pressing ‘key magic’ then 00040, if that doesn’t work try just 040, those are the EFC codes for ‘list’ on the 9200t and the Foxsat depending on if your One For All uses 5 digit or 3 digit EFC codes.

Your reading is rubbish as well your advice. You are just do not know what you are talking about you want to mud a perfect working answer that works with millions of devices.
Good luck to you and your company.
Please re-read the forum rules , in particular about respecting other members.
Graham is absolutely correct in that your connection is from your iPhone and from your Humax to the TV. There is no signal from the TV to the Humax via the iPhone or any other source. The Humax can only deal with input on the F-connectors, Not over HDMI

ParticipantCheck out this thread No apps allowed on the community forums for WD My Cloud. Depending on your version there seems to ba a workaround

ParticipantThe main change seems to be Film4+1 moving back to a SD (DVB-T) MUX from the DVB-T2 MUX it was on. Not so much an issue for 4000/5000 users as for 9200/9300 users.

ParticipantThis is the modulator I have used – Technomate HDMI modulator.
It required a DVB-T2 tuner to pick up the signal (HDR-T2 in this case). A DVB-T TV would not tune the channel. You may be correct that it is only because the Freeview HD tuners contain the necessary decoders.

This is possible using a digital modulator and a Freeview PVR. The Digital modulator creates a single channel DVB-T HD channel Mux using the UHF carrier of your choice. the pvr can this tune like any other HD mux. The cheaper ones don’t Dolby Digital so you would have to set the box to output PCM stereo.
Which Humax PVR do you have ?
Be aware that the recordings may have a much larger filesize using this method than regular freeview HD recordings.
That was certainly the case when I tried this although with a different make of HDMI modulator. It’s fine for feeding an HDMI signal over coax though in DVB-T2 format.
