Bahrain is back on 30th October! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/13608826.stm :-) Indian GP moved to December.

Some teams are not happy because the closed season will be too short, but they are contracturally obligated to race.

An update to v1.00.23 is the way forward. This version includes the EPG buffer, which means the EPG is ‘remembered’ on switch off. Populating the EPG is the cause of slow-downs on the 9200T.

I’m not sure if or when the next OTA will be. The only other way to update is to use the serial interface and the WinOak software.

I get this on some recorded programmes but not all of them. I’m on Winter Hill.

Have you tried a factory reset?

I recorded Time Team on Sunday and I was still getting video break-ups on playback.

I’ve upgraded mine’s internal HD from 80GB to 250GB, and still have the original 80GB drive stored somewhere in case anyone ever figures out how to get my complete Live8 recording off it.

Does the drive use the same format as the 9200T? If so, perhaps HumaxRW would work (available from our downloads section here).

Do you have a copy of XP lying around anywhere on a CD?

What version of Win7 64 do you have? Microsoft advertise that Win7 Professional and above can run XP mode, but their web page allows you to download it for Home Premium. You can download a fully licensed version of XP that will run in a virtual machine, and it connects to all the same devices that Win7 has access to.

Go here to select your OS and download the virtual machine and the XP image. Be aware the download is in excess of 500MB.

Is it just me who sees a broken image icon where the picture should be? I can view the attachments OK.

So do we go with the flow and allow full access so that users can edit all their posts (if thats possible with bbPress), or do we restrict access as it is now so that historical edits can only be performed by request to the Mods/Admin?

Personally, I like the idea of restricting the edit, because so many times I’ve seen text in quoted posts that doesnt appear in the original post – especially if theres an argument going on 😉 .

That seems sensible to me. If you make a post then someone replies to it, you could edit your post out of context making subsequent posts appear OT, for example.
