ModeratorAre the Led’s on the internet port on rear of unit active?
Maybe worth giving Humax Support a call see if they can help diagnose…

ModeratorWelcome to our Forum

If you have the new software then you are stuck I’m afraid, without an internet connection you cannot complete set up.

ModeratorThe favourites setting via highlighting channel logo was reported to Humax Towers a couple of weeks ago and acknowledged, engineers asked to investigate.

As you are not UK based assume you are referring to a HDR ****S or Foxsat satellite receiver.
Only the first part of any postcode is required eg TW8 (London region)

You can set a manual timer thus:
Recordings
Planned
Right arrow to select manual recording – on the following screen you can set:
Channel you wish to record
Month
Day
Start Time
Duration (note not end time)
Repeat

ModeratorFrom the user manual:
If āStore Display Mode: Onā is displayed on the
screen
⢠Your TV is set to āShopā mode. You need to set āHomeā
for āLocationā in the āAuto Start-upā procedure again
My understanding again from the manual is a reset will be required as there appears to be no ‘toggle on/off’ for store display mode:
Menu
Settings
Auto start up
Hope that helps.

It will be a TV setting that has been changed as the HDR T2 does not have a store display mode.
If you can post make/model of TV no doubt one of our members can help.

ModeratorThe original remote was the RM-L03, RM-L08 is the newer version.
Check that the remote and unit are paired correctly see FAQ

As usual I had to manually input the channels as Automatic gave me duplicates and channels in the 800 range.
I couldn’t fine anywhere to delete all the channels (as I used to on my 9300T) to start with a clean slate, and had to reset the box which involved going through info screens and re-inputting my router code.
There must be an easier way, what am I missing?
Factory reset would be the quickest way, and then stop the auto search for channels…or
Home, Settings, Channel Settings, Edit Channel List then:
+ Highlight Select all, OK
+ Delete, OK, and confirm
You have to do the same again to delete all radio channels.

ModeratorThreads combined…will move this thread to FVP section later.
Have sent a message to Humax Towers asking if there are server issues that could affect some but not all users.
Barry
ModeratorAll present and correct for me on FVP 4000T earlier when I was checking out Freeview Explore.
Just checked again this very minute and same.
Will ask Humax Towers tomorrow if they are aware of any server issues that might affect some users.
