    1. The 4000/5000T has to download the EPG when first switched on for the day, it is held in memory which is cleared during overnight housekeeping.

    Whilst I have not timed it exactly, it takes around 5 minutes to populate whole EPG.

    2. Accuracy of recording is dependant on broadcaster, the major channels trigger start and end of timers with what is called ‘running status change’ this is transmitted as programme starts/ends. Minor channels do not sue this so users are reliant on them ‘sticking’ to the broadcast schedules…you could of course use padding as on the 9300T.

    3. Cannot answer that one as it is many years since I had Sky. Hopefully another member with recent experience of their service provide an answer.

    On Demand and Showcase returned for me, also unit now connecting to IP for initial download of EPG.

    In an effort to help I have just factory reset a HB 1100S and now have similar issues.

    Believe there must be a server issue as on first use of EPG it is not connecting to server to populate.

    Have highlighted to Humax Towers Manager.

    You may be tuned to more then one transmitter, if you have any channels listed in the 800 range then that is a clue.

    1. Graham is correct – Showcase is IP delivered.

    2. Patsy also correct in changing to BBC can sometimes solve or speed up the showcase download.

    The only one sure fire way I can think of to not have the logo’s – never connect the unit to the outside world ie LAN or Wifi.

    This of course would mean no on demand, network functions, restricted search etc
