Moderator1. Youview remote and unit is code 1
2. Older Humax boxes did not have similar.
Barry
ModeratorDo you see confirmation of the remote code change displayed on TV?
Barry
ModeratorAs per my FAQ my units, be it 4000 or 5000T appear under my computer, network locations.
The unit has to have network, and samba server enabled.
Works for me YMMV.

ModeratorLive TV or TV Guide are the apps required, you can set timers from the guide within the app. Remote recording on the FVP has to be enabled obviously.

I’d check for the programme on iplayer.
If it’s in eco mode I’d switch it over to normal as eco mode has always been at the bottom of quite a lot of the previous humax gremlins.
All of my Humax boxes have always used low power sby. I can’t recollect a single issue related to this.
Ditto, currently 10 units (freesat and freeview) connected all in low power sby.

I also have the issue of a 4000 defaulting to list view since the update to 5000 software. As others have indicated, it only happens overnight – I can turn it onto standby as many times as I want during the day and it will stay on grid view. I have power saving on and it is left in standby overnight. Presumably some interaction with the overnight housekeeping processes?
Correct re overnight housekeeping.

A recent software update has added features.
If you look to the top of recordings list you will see ‘list’ and ‘grid’
Scroll to the grid option so it is highlighted and press OK.
