It is the opera browser that is updated.
I think all Humax units since the advent of the portal have this browser included in software, but stand to be corrected.
I think units are reverting to older software, just uploaded the test software again and search works.
As a result of this no longer offering the test software via PM for time being.
Upload instructions if you are not aware of them:
1. Download the latest software version and save it to an empty USB memory stick.
2. Please make sure the software is saved in the root of the USB stick.
3. Insert the USB memory stick into FVP-5000T USB port.
4. Please press Home -> Settings -> System Settings -> System Information -> and press ‘OK’ button on Check New Software.
5. When the download progress stops it may take up to 5 minutes for it to restart so ‘DO NOT TURN OFF FVP-5000T’
Para 5 is important, wait for the unit to reboot, for example my 5000T took approx 4 mins, my 4000T took approx 3mins 30 seconds.
As per my PM thanking you for feedback, side usb should have worked, that is how I updated my units to test the software before offering to all who want to try the fix.

If the Aura remote has not been used for sometime, on first use it sends command via IR, then subsequently bluetooth.
Try pointing remote away from units on first use.
(leaving remote in bluetooth mode continually would be a drain on the batteries)
FVP 4000T & 5000T owners, if you want to test a fix for this issue then PM me for link to software.
I’ll check for PM’s on the hour every hour so do not be concerned if you do not get an immediate response.

You could try uploading software version 1.01.06 which included loader version 1.04

Instructions on how to upload are here along with the latest version of software, which you can upload if version with loader recovers the unit to an operational condition.
