Its strange as it was literally working one day and not the next..looks like its going back
This is a strange one, not sure I have seen any other reports. Options:
1. You could try a software reload to see if that will give you control back.
2. Contact Humax Support, if they cannot suggest anything, they can arrange a swap out for you.

Sounds like you are receiving from 2 transmitters from the description you have posted.
1. Do you have channels listed in the 800’s
2. You could try deleting all channels, and retuning manually for the correct transmitter.
Enter postcode, house no, and tick ‘I am in the aerial installation trade’ in the boxes to the right of this page, this will then list transmitters and channel numbers for you to use on a manual tune.

Hard to suggest anything other then switch the power off/on.
Did you select delete yourself, and if so are they large files or did you select a number to delete, as this might take sometime.

I think the HD icon in the now next banner is always there on the HD channels. For the ‘Watch in HD’ prompt to appear the programme has to be HD, and the broadcaster has to transmit the info, as at the moment with both BBC1 – Torchwood, and BBC2 – History Cold Case.

Moderatorej – I think we have already done enough for the engineers to work a fix to the problem, and I am loath to tie a unit up again, I do watch some TV now and again, couple of hours a day, mostly recorded

ModeratorHi Les, I found some drivers for my usb to serial, Sweex is the brand name, and using this and Formula Neo I managed to upload using Win 7 …in fact I have just done it again to confirm Prolific is another brand of usb to serial.
On the tests I have performed so far using The One Show, Emmerdale, and Loose Women as they all usually start early, the results have been on a par with the Foxsat and T2 units, certainly wothin a few seconds if not the same. There is one that I have not had an instance of as yet – text from a post by creddish on DS:
If the programme you are recordings runs later than it’s scheduled time and you also have another consecutive recording set to start at the same scheduled time on another channel and this second recording starts on time or late then the first recording will be terminated at it’s scheduled end time and you will miss the end of the first programme to the extent that it overruns it’s scheduled end time.
Barry
ModeratorNot a lot of interest then, you must all have upgraded to HD

Will probably be available from the global download site tomorrow, this is an official release, OTA’s to be arranged.
Barry
ModeratorI would suggest that anyone uploading this carrys out a default or at least resets all timers.

ModeratorBit of a delay in bringing you more news but, new software (V26) available from Beta site for the 9150/9300…
http://beta.humaxonline.co.uk/freeview-sd
• Resolve Individual Series Recordings disappearing from the schedule
• Improved accurracy for programmes that start early
• Improved schedule priority
• Improved Recording failures due to broadcaster changes
• Improved Network Change Descriptor process
Edit: I have slightly changed the thread title.

ModeratorWelcome to the Forum both of you

Can only endorse what brian has stated.
Whilst there are other PVR’s available, some of those are missing features that most would say are definitely needed.

ModeratorLet us know how you get on.

From your descriptive it sounds like you are connected via RF and have reset the box to default, and therefore the RF output channel has changed.
1. Can you connect via Scart or use the Composite outputs?
or
2. Retune the TV?

Further info as I see this is still getting coverage.
My timers list, all series record items, consisted of weekday and weekly programmes, some 21 timers in total, SD and HD.
Something Graham brought up on the thread on the other forum: I use auto-padding. If you were using accurate recording for your testing, that might be another factor contributing to the difference.
That may well be a factor as I always use AR. What padding settings are you using?
Can I just make something clear as well. My intentions with this thread is not to belittle or rubbish any reported issues, but to try and understand what, if anything, has gone wrong – if possible try and replicate, and then report to Humax Towers for the engineers to investigate.
