The sound/picture issue was not something I had noticed so just tested on my 2 units, if anything the sound appears a nano second before the picture – this with units connected to Tv’s via HDMI.

It’s early days yet but mine seems worse after the recent S/W update, it’s resetting to default more frequently. Bugger.
I’ve never had this happen – in some ways wish I had, then I might have a chance of trying to replicate the scenario that causes it to happen.
On the plus side, dormant timers for Moto GP (last week) and F1 (next week) have been rescheduled after the summer breaks, rather then disappearing which could happen on previous version.

ModeratorSorry for delay in getting back to you, have been discussing this with Humax Towers. They also have problems with this, on a Sony TV and suspect the TV does not support the video format of the Humax files ie ts streams.
Can you advise the exact model of your TV please.
Barry
ModeratorThe advice forthcoming is to check via the TV’s menus to ensure that external inputs/HDMI is set to on – this fixed the problem with another model of Sony TV apparently.
There are no immediate plans to re visit this issue, however do ensure that humax support (via email or telephone) are aware that you still have issues with your model of TV.

Hi Barry,
I had just found the notes on setting up the connection for new users, and saw about re booting, did that and yes all ok.
I will make sure I now read all the files before trying anything else 🙄
Good news, no worries, ask away if you have any more queries
Barry
ModeratorSee this sort of problem reported now and again. I must be lucky has never come across it, however try something as simple as a reboot of your HDR T2, ie place into and out of standby.

ModeratorThank you for the kind words.
Channels in the 800’s is only an indicator. Try the manual tune instructions as detailed by Biggles in this post:
