ModeratorYou need to change the code on the remote, the unit does not have to be anywhere near on even on.
Juat carry out the procedure to change the code to 2, when the PVR light on the remote flashes 3 times press OK – remote has then been re-programmed.

ModeratorThere is a reason why it was not released – I am not at liberty to divulge that, but can assure you it was nothing to do with the impending release of the later model.
Hopefully some news on a release for the HDR T2 in the next few weeks, subject to current planning not changing – more info when I can.

Something just dawned on me, if 1.03.06 was released on new boxes months ago and overcomes the problem with Youtube, then does that mean that Humax were forewarned about the need for change (by Youtibe)
Quick Answer – No.
More detail – 1.03.06 was released for change of browser, and update to V3 BBC iplayer (with subtitles) amongst other things.

ModeratorReceived an email asking for confirmation re PSU.
I can confirm it is external PSU, as per my post #1
(The tech specs listed on Humax Direct were originally wrong, but quickly amended once highlighted to Humax Towers – post #16)

ModeratorIf you are planning to disconnect sky box then the HDR 1000S or 1010S (wifi on board) is the obvious choice, this would need 2 inputs from your dish.
The HDR 1000S would need a connection to your router either by ethernet cable or powerline adapter. The HDR 1010S has wifi on board.
No Spotify though.

ModeratorStrange only getting a part record, are you definitely sure it is tuned correctly, ie only receiving from one transmitter?

Sorry another question:-
What exactly is a “compatible device”, is this a DNLA sort of thing?
Yes it is.

ModeratorDTR 1010 YouView – Good for on demand content as is has all the major players, with previous 7 days EPG. Woeful as PVR, lacking many of the features now regarded as standard eg – No padding auto or manual, no edit timers, no manual timers, no manual tuning, no favourites, no wifi support, no archiving.
HDR 2000T – Only has BBC iplayer, no backward looking EPG though, plus other stuff you have already mentioned, but as PVR it has all that is missing from the DTR 1010.

Try changing the output resolution with the v format button see if that improves matters.
Barry
ModeratorYouview remote clicks the same. You could use a Foxsat HDR or HDR T2 remote, obviously some button assignments would be different.
eg using HDR T2 remote
No home button so have to use menu.
No recordings button, but media does the same.
A universal remote would be the obvious answer
