Hi, I just signed up to comment on this.
My mother in law is having the same issue but with recorded content. Never watches live TV. Pause, go to kitchen, come back and it stays again. Sometimes when it does work on there is no sound and she has to rewind for ages and watch content again.
I don’t want to stick beta software on her box but it would be good to know if there is a fix on the way at least. Otherwise I think we’ll just give up and ditch it and buy something else, it’s just not worth the grief. It’s running latest alpha software.

Heads up on an update tomorrow:
Release note:
• Font Size is added in settings : Settings > Channels & Broadcast > On Screen Display.
• EPG Background option is added in settings : Settings > Channels & Broadcast > On Screen Display.
We thought that those two features could be important to some users and managed with higher priority.
Then some bug fixes :
• Recording List focus issue when deleting recordings.
• Fix to getting Googlecast device status when casting is in progress.

We can do that now can’t we?
Press and hold OK on the app you want to move, select move from the drop down menu and press ok, app will have a ‘flashing’ border around it, move the app to where you want it press OK

Excuse me if this has already been asked or covered but not really kept up to date with beta test threads. But has the error where you get a black screen and just sound in live tv been fixed. If so when will it be released to public as this happens everyday on my box. Thanks
There has been a few changes to improve/fix this reported problem.
Public release is planned for a couple of weeks time.
If you want to be included in the open testing, send me your unit serial number via Private Message, and I’ll request it is added to the open group.
Comment from programmer:
New version of player from PLEX app does not close Audio device when exit, and it causes various problems.
If users stop the video before exiting from PLEX (e.g. stop video before pressing LIVE key or HOME key), then the problems can be avoided.
We’ll check further what we can do in firmware level.
I think support are confusing the 4000/5000T update that did indeed need a tweak and the freesat fix which has worked for over 60 members who have asked me for the software, not one report of issues received.
