I found this after a short while googling http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/what-we-know-so-far.3740/
Cannot make a judgement call on that list as not a member so not able to view it – Therefore some of the following might be repetitive.
2000T – No front display, just and led indicator, red standby, red on recording, blue on not recording, purple updating software.
2000T – Different remote, but you can use the original HDR T2 if preferred.
2000T – With current publically released software, no loop thru, or sharing of HD content with other Humax devices.
2000T – iptv channels work.
2000T – Part ‘silvered’ front cover, 1800T (320GB HDD) is all black if that is preferred.
2000T – Can archive content to an ext HDD formatted to ntfs.

ModeratorThe 2000T would be familiar to you as it has the same UI as the HDR T2….good price btw.
A bit quicker in response to users inputs then the HDR T2 especially when using iplayer, youtube etc.
Have you considered a managers special HDR T2 from Humax Direct:

ModeratorWhen you say unplugged everything, do you mean everything – aerial, lan etc.
If not try a factory reset with only power and tv connected, nothing else, when it starts channel search switch off reconnect aerial and switch on to continue.
Should that not be successful then I would try reloading firmware as a next step.

Strange one, never seen this myself.
A factory reset should delete the offending timers – along with others so make a note.
As a matter of interest when the ‘R’ banner appears at top of screen what timer, if any, is added to your planned recordings list?

ModeratorApologises just realised you are using satellite box not youview, so the 10 second touch would have had no effect.
Power on off is usually the only option.
Did you per chance change the remote code used?

Try touching and keep touching the power button on front of unit for approx. 10 seconds, see if that will initiate a reset.
If that fails then your only recourse will be to disconnect power to unit for 10 minutes and then power up again see what happens.

Could you also confirm the current software version on the unit.

ModeratorI did not receive my 1800T until after it went on general sale unfortunately, and yes it exhibited the same problem – spotted it straight away.
Not going to go into anymore detail, suffice to say it is OK now 😉
Assisted Ellie via pm throughout this afternoon and hopefully it is resolved for her as well now.

Is there a matching one for the HD Fox T2? My parents don’t want to lose iPlayer on their box upstairs.
Nope.
Quote:This is for the HDR Fox T2 terrestrial Freeview box, nothing to do with Freesat. You shouldn’t have been able to programme the image Barry linked to into a Foxsat.Obviously a typo – Graham being one of the most experienced members of this forum.
