I see some wishful thinking for an update for the 1800T.
Considering how long Humax have dragged their feet over the 2000t loop-thru update, I cant see the 1800T being any different

Whilst recording in standby is a known issue, loop thru should work on this unit with power saving in standby off.
You shouldn’t have to ‘go through this every time’
Just boot box as normal and wait a minute before trying on demand/showcase.

Ok so iplayer not going to work for a bit but I can’t pause live tv or even record , just step forward would great !
Do not understand this as long as you have correct software version, 1.01.12 or later and a working ext HDD you should be able to pause and record.
All is not lost.
Humax, resources permitting, intend to update iplayer and the browser so it supports the later version of portal, however this is not going to happen overnight.
More when I have it.

Note for freetime users, channel name has changed but not the icon in EPG as yet.
Have used an HDR 1000 and 1010S throughout today, no missing idents at all. Just booted a HB and that is OK as well?

Whilst there is no warning of schedule being wiped, it is a consequence of a channel rescan which does have a warning i.e. a pop up on boot of unit.

Try turning off DHCP on your router (or turn router off) then on the HB1000S select connect automatically, and wait a short while for the manual settings option.

One thing that hasn’t been picked up on, a few of us have said that Freesat is showing we are connected via Bebox. Not sure about anyone else but my router is not a Bebox, I’m betting that’s the same for a lot of folk who are having this problem
That is normal, nothing to worry about.

Old software = old showcase.
New HB 1000S connected up a hour or so ago, had version 2.00.09 on board, old showcase which is not being updated, and was missing some thumbnails. On demand worked although again no thumbnails.
Software update carried out, now have new showcase with thumbnails and it is up to date.
