Good news, thank you for updating us.
Setting a recording via 101 and selecting HD has caught me out before – wondering why no rec symbol.

Barry, still no joy, followed your instructions some of the channel logos came back but not all and more importantly still getting the same message with ondemand and showcase. Any other suggestions?
Basically leave unit on and wait, see if they finally work is all I can suggest, especially as you have seen some improvement in EPG logos.

Have had my Humax for over 2years now and until recently no problem.
Now, after the recent update, I also cannot access On Demand, seeing only the message experienced by others to the effect that ‘it will take a couple of minutes to work’ but never does
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I think it is very easy to use, the problem that I have with it

Not convinced this has the RT3070 Ralink chipset, so would not work with Humax products.
The only info I have found which would confirm my suspicions is this:

Your aunt does not appear to be doing anything wrong, however, caveat – 101 on freesat is BBC SD not HD so she would not see the record icon annotated to the programme if she has set it to record in HD until she pages down in the guide.
Do the timers appear in planned recordings list:
Home, highlight recordings press ok, highlight planned should list timers.

I’ve installed the software (after a few tries!) but the TV still doesn’t get a signal unless the pvr is on or recording.
Have you turned power saving in standby off?
