ParticipantI’ve have re-enabled the HumaxDisk wiki for another month – so pages there are live again. Wikispaces want to charge people for their wikis, so we won’t be paying them when we can host the Humax 9200T utilities here: http://myhumax.org/blog/?page_id=153
Please find the 9200T Downloads page updated with HumaxRW 1.15 and now HumaxCheck 0.10W.

ParticipantYeah, what Brian said…
Although, the wiki is not really for personal notes… It’s for information sharing – instructions or just handy info useful for all Humax owners or potential owners.
If you are keen, I wouldn’t mind an extra input or two; I’ve been to busy to keep it updated in the past couple of years. I think Barry updates some stuff now and again…
Send Admin an email (new admin@myhumax.org) or send a PM.

ParticipantI was kind of wondering – this is a bargain for a HDR-FOX T2, yes?
myhumax
ParticipantApparently, my Argos has one in stock! at £144 too!

ParticipantOh, OK. A new model at a lower price… doesn’t sound promising…

2) @179.99 as new item – cat no 114/4697 NOT IN STOCK
Please could someone clarify whether these are the same item or not, as I cannot find any reference to Humax producing a replacement model?
Many thanks
[attachment=19724,244]
I would assume the second item is erroneous, no such model as the HDR-2000T (or HDR-2000T T2) …
I would recommend getting a Humax HDR-FOX T2 from Amazon.co.uk

ParticipantIf it is an SD recording then it is fairly straight forward.
If you have a DVD recorder, plug it in at the back SCART to SCART, play (on the FOXSAT) and record (on the DVD recorder).
Otherwise, you can transfer the recording to a USB drive (attach it to the FOXSAT, EXT3 format) and then transfer it to a PC. Use a conversion program and/or a DVD burning program to burn it to DVD in DVD-Video format. http://myhumax.org/blog/?p=364

ParticipantI’m stuck with the last channel picture on 303 again for the MotoGP on the YV box.
303 on the HDR T2 is OK.
myhumax
ParticipantYep, Glastonbury is fine on the HDR T2 at the moment…
myhumax
ParticipantChannel: 303
Signal strength: 83%
Signal quality: 100%
There’s no break up in picture at all, only constant stutter and no sound.
myhumax
ParticipantSo now I can get 303 (the tennis) and also the firmware update, but I have a very jerky picture and no sound!
I’ve made a video which may or may not demonstrate the problem…
myhumax
ParticipantI’m supposed to get the HD version but I just get a frozen picture of the channel I was on before.
Not managed to get the new update and still on 12.7.10. Is this the problem? Or is it my region – Scottish?
Btw I am going directly to 303. Red button does not work…

ParticipantStruggling families shouldn’t have Sky. Freetime is an alternative on satellite and Youview on terrestrial, if you want free TV with catch-up/OD content.
However, it looks like one box will rule them all (at least on terrestrial) – the Xbox One or the PS4. Although in this article the head of YV doesn’t think it is a competitor: http://www.techradar.com/news/television/youview-we-don-t-see-ps4-and-xbox-one-as-an-immediate-threat-1155348
