Is there still a problem with Internet radio on the T2? I can’t seem to select any radio station without it crashing! Very disappointing..
What software version is your box using? The problem was fixed at version 1.02.29 but as far as I know this hasn’t been released OTA so you need to apply the update via a USB stick.

It is recommended that if you are not manually putting the unit into standby then you should set the automatic switch on and off times to something convenient e.g. overnight.
I agree that when the problem has been fixed that putting the box into standby overnight is the correct thing to do. However there is some evidence to suggest that when significant corruption has occurred then leaving the box on all the time until it is convenient to format is more likely to keep the recordings visible.

So how do i get the programmes to show again??
If you are prepared to open the Humax and attach the hard drive to a PC then you copy off the recordings using humaxrw in recovery mode; you then format the disk in the Humax and then you can recreate the missing support files and copy the programs back. Note they will have lost their titles so will need to be renamed and some will be corrupted,

When it records it lists the recorded programme as a duplicate recording of something recorded a couple of months ago.
These are classic signs of a corrupt file system. the fix is to watch any important recordings then format the hard drive from the HDD Control item in the Record Menu (default password 0000). Note that that if you do nothing the problem will get worse and you will suddenly be faced with a blank list of recordings,

it takes ages to tramp through the guide.
Really? Are you aware that the advert skip buttons go forward and backward by a day in the guide and fast forward/reverse in increments of 2 hours?

I have a HD FOX T2 which is just over a year old. It’s been working absolutely fine until a few days ago when my wife said its not recording anything and there is a ‘funny’ message coming up.
Is this really an HD-FOX T2 which uses an external disk for recording or an HDR-FOX T2 which has an internal disk? If is an HD then try attaching the disk to a PC and formatting it on that before reattaching to the Humax.

My 9200T has three faults:
A) occasional total ‘hang’, where it won’t respond to anything; recoverable only via power down.
This is the most worrying symptom. Typically what is happening when it hangs? How frequently does this occur?
unit intermittently fails to respond to remote: if I wait a bit it can cope with another instruction or two, then I have to wait some more before it’s ready again. This could be linked to the problem that is being reported with the guide for the next three days being fully populated but for days four to seven having gaps that change with time. Do you see this behaviour? If so you might consider manually tuning using the biggles manual tuning instructions see http://myhumax.org/forum/topic/week-old-9300t-and-epg-wont-fill-up-for-week#post-7097 but instead of tuning all available multiplexes for a transmitter omit one multiplex. This will of course mean some channels are not available but may well help with your response problem.
C) failure to wake up from standby to record programme
Machine is permanently switched on (not on standby) because of fault C.
Does the machine display the time on the front panel when in standby or is it –:–? If the latter then you need the Biggles clock board cleaning instructions; see http://myhumax.org/forum/topic/the-9200-problem

why will my box not record on the timer or instantly
Most likely problem is that the file system has become corrupted. the quickest way to fix this is to watch any important recordings and then format the disk from the HDD Control menu item in the Record menu (default password is 0000).

Anyone? Every time I put the device into standby the wireless is lost. Now its completely hit and miss whether a reboot works.
Is your WiFi SSID hidden?

Suspect a file system corruption as in this FAQ. Does the suggested method on using Humaxcheck also apply to the 9150?
Yes I agree it is file system corruption. The FAQ is referring to a different problem and the solution is not applicable to your case. You can retrieve recordings using humaxrw in recovery mode but there may be difficulty in restoring them to the Humax.

Recently I have noticed that some channels refuse to display, showing either no signal it channel scrambled.
Try a manual tune using the following instructions: http://myhumax.org/forum/topic/transmitters#post-2336

Firstly 500GB drives are never truly 500GB, HDD makers use the cheat that 1GB – 1000MB (The correct figure is 1024).
Secondly part of the HDD is reserved for the OS (epg cache for instance), another chunk is reserved for the fixed size file used for the time shift buffer.
Also the EXT3 file system reserves 5% of the space for use by the root user.

The numbers for the channels in Manual Tuning are not the actual station numbers!
I pointed you to my manual tuning instructions in post two of this thread. Can you explain why having read those instructions you thought you needed to input the station numbers? (Genuine question so that I can see if I can improve the instructions.) Also we could have diagnosed your problem quicker if you had responded to my request for information in post 9 of this thread.
You need to perform it five times to get the stations manually:
1) Tune Channel use number 24
2) Tune Channel use number 27
3) Tune Channel use number 25
4) Tune Channel use number 22
5) Tune Channel use number 28
All using the DVB-T
Then do it again but this time set the tuner to DVB-T2 to get the four HD channels. using number 21.
For clarity, the mux channel numbers you have quoted apply to your location but not to anybody living elsewhere in the country.

We get our signal from the Isle of Wight Postcode PO20.
The Humax 9200T and my Samsung HD TV both pick up every available channel.
On the Humax remote press Menu then select Settings then System then Signal detection. Press the OK button which will show a list of numbers. Tell us what those numbers are.

Reset that, now that option is greyed out on the menu.
It will be greyed out whilst a recording is taking place.
