Why are there currently so few Humax PVR’s in stock an major retailers and on line? Are there new models coming out? Recently spent considerable time deciding which PVR suited my requirements only to find that all main retailers are were out of stock of most models and had no idea when they would be available. I would have liked a HDR1000s but the only available model of similar specification in stock was HDR1010 unfortunately it’s white.
The new model (very similar spec) is HDR-1100S. Comes in black and white but the black ones seem to have been in (presumably temporary) short supply. The 1100S is replacing the 1000S and 1010S so the older boxes are not being restocked by retailers. Try Humax Direct.
